Background for New Readers – You Won’t Believe This Story… and Neither Did I yet it happened to us!!
If this is your first visit to Black Sheep Whistleblower, you may think what follows sounds too extraordinary to be true.
To be honest, had someone told me two years ago that I would one day be writing about an alleged murder plot, an RCMP Duty to Warn, a targeted Molotov cocktail attack on my family home, years of online harassment, multiple civil lawsuits, and a growing web of overlapping names connected to those events, I probably wouldn’t have believed them either.
Yet here we are.
What began as a book I started writing nearly two years ago about corruption, whistleblowing, and my own experiences gradually transformed into something entirely different. I was writing a story about my past—until, beginning in December 2025, the story quite literally began writing itself.
That was the month private investigator Jolene Johnson reported to the RCMP what she believed was an alleged conspiracy to murder Jessica Yaniv Simpson and me, based on recordings she had obtained while working for one of her clients Michael Martinz. Those recordings ultimately became the basis for Langley RCMP Investigation No. 2025-39393 and led to the RCMP issuing me a Duty to Warn advising that investigators believed there was a credible threat against my life.
FOR THE RECORD: I DID NOT REPORT THIS ALLEGED MURDER PLOT TO THE RCMP AS I THOUGHT IT WAS A JOKE … AT FIRST.
Less than two months later, on January 22, 2026, Molotov cocktails were thrown at my family home while my daughter and I were inside.
From that point forward, the book was no longer about history.
It became a real-time account of events unfolding around my family.
As each chapter seemed impossible, another would unfold.
As each question appeared unanswered, another piece of the chronology emerged.
The articles below document that chronology as it happened. Together they tell the story of the alleged murder plot, the RCMP investigation, the subsequent firebombing of our home, the online smear campaign that surrounded those events, and the recurring names—including Danny Keith Martin, Jessica Yaniv Simpson, Svetlana Dalla Lana, Michael Martinz, Jolene Johnson, James McFaddin, and others—that continue to appear throughout this extraordinary series of events.
Whether you ultimately agree with my conclusions or not, I encourage you to read the chronology before reading today’s article.
Only then can Inspector Loeppky’s June 29, 2026 letter be understood within the broader context from which it emerged.
As strange as this story may seem, I have learned over the past decade that truth is often stranger than fiction.
And this story, incredibly, is still unfolding.

The RCMP Inspector Loeppky Letter: An Update on the Alleged Murder Plot Against Me and Jessica Yaniv Simpson
Just over a month ago (which I have been withholding until not) On June 29, 2026, Inspector Loeppky of the Langley RCMP signed the letter reproduced below, which I received by registered mail shortly thereafter. In that correspondence, Inspector Loeppky advised that Langley RCMP Investigation No. 2025-39393, concerning the alleged conspiracy to murder Jessica Yaniv Simpson and me, had concluded. The letter states that, following what the RCMP described as a comprehensive review of witness statements, audio recordings, documentary evidence, and other available information, investigators determined there was insufficient evidence to support criminal charges.
Inspector Loeppky’s June 29, 2026 Letter
The following letter, dated June 29, 2026, was sent to me by registered mail at my family home—a home that had already been firebombed on January 22, 2026 and was unoccupied because of the extensive damage. The irony was not lost on me. After months of investigating the alleged conspiracy to murder Jessica Yaniv Simpson and me, followed by the targeted Molotov cocktail attack on my home, the RCMP’s official closing letter was mailed to an address they knew had been rendered uninhabitable.
As you read Inspector Loeppky’s letter, I encourage you to draw your own conclusions—not only about the investigation itself, but also about the judgment, attention to detail, and decision-making reflected throughout this file.
Make up your own opinion: Is RCMP Inspector Loeppky retarded or conflicted or covering up or all three? Is he clumsy or conniving??? Hmmmm?? I think I know which but see for yourself:
What makes this letter particularly noteworthy is that I was not the complainant who brought this matter to the RCMP.
According to my understanding of the chronology, the investigation originated after private investigator Jolene Johnson, while working for her client Michael Martinz, reported information that she believed disclosed an alleged conspiracy to murder Jessica Yaniv Simpson and me. Ms. Johnson provided the RCMP with audio recordings and other evidence that she believed warranted immediate police investigation. Those materials ultimately led to the Langley RCMP opening Investigation No. 2025-39393 and, shortly thereafter, issuing me an RCMP Duty to Warn.
Only after Ms. Johnson had turned those recordings over to police did she allow me to listen to portions of them. Based on what I personally heard, I understood the recordings to contain discussions involving Michael Martinz allegedly planning to have me killed and Jessica Yaniv Simpson assaulted. My recollection is that Danny Keith Martin also appeared in those recordings, and I came away with the understanding that he was aware of, or participating in, discussions surrounding the alleged plot. That is my recollection of what I heard and why Inspector Loeppky’s conclusion that there was insufficient evidence continues to raise questions in my mind.
Another detail that immediately caught my attention was the absence of Cpl. Amanda Martell from the June 29, 2026 correspondence. Throughout my dealings with the Langley RCMP, Cpl. Martell appeared to be the lead investigator on this file. Yet the closing letter was signed solely by Inspector Loeppky and, to my knowledge, Cpl. Martell was not copied on the correspondence sent to me. I do not know the reason for that, but it is another aspect of the chronology that I believe deserves to be documented.
This article is not intended to accuse anyone of criminal wrongdoing. Rather, it examines the documented chronology, the RCMP’s own correspondence, and the questions that remain after the closure of Investigation No. 2025-39393. As readers will see, those questions extend well beyond the June 29, 2026 letter itself.
Enter Pastor Aldon Loeppky (in 2017 so way way back) with the same name and the Connection to the RCMP and Inspector Loeppky: A Chronology Dating Back to 2017
To understand why Inspector Loeppky’s June 29, 2026 letter immediately caught my attention, it is necessary to go back almost a decade.
In approximately 2017, only months after I met Svetlana Dalla Lana through New Life Church in Castlegar (the same Svetlana Dalla Lana who years later became engaged to Michael Martinz, whose name subsequently emerged during Langley RCMP Investigation No. 2025-39393), she arranged for me to meet Pastor Aldon Loeppky. Here is a photo of Pastor Aldon and his wife betty that I searched for at the time just because my spidy senses were tingling:
At the time, Pastor Loeppky appeared to take a genuine interest in me. My impression was that he wanted to hear my story, offer spiritual guidance, and understand the concerns I had been raising for years regarding what I believed were organized crime, money laundering, financial crime, and drug trafficking. Looking back with the benefit of hindsight—and in light of everything that has unfolded since—I have begun to question whether there was more to that meeting than I appreciated at the time. Those reflections form part of what I intend to explore in a future article and in my forthcoming book, where I examine what I believe may have been a broader pattern of interactions involving religious figures, law enforcement, and my whistleblowing activities. Those views are my own and remain matters of opinion.
One detail from that first meeting has remained vivid in my memory for nearly a decade.
Almost immediately, Pastor Loeppky told me that he had a brother in the RCMP. He did not identify his brother by name or rank, nor did he tell me that his brother had served in one of the most senior positions within the RCMP. That information only became significant years later, after I began researching the chronology surrounding Inspector Loeppky’s June 29, 2026 letter and publicly available information concerning former RCMP Deputy Commissioner Garry Loeppky.
According to my recollection, Pastor Loeppky then described organized crime using the analogy of a pyramid. He explained that police often succeed in arresting those operating near the bottom of the pyramid, while the people at the very top are frequently individuals with wealth, political influence, institutional power, or other forms of authority, making them far more difficult to investigate or prosecute. See the graphic I produced to illustrate this … clearly whistleblowers and witnesses fall into the bottom of the pyramid where their lives are destroyed (or suicided or homes firebombed) and at the top you have the get out of jail free card folks the white collar folks!! Not the typical criminals you would think about:

At the time, I viewed the conversation as little more than an interesting discussion but now when I look back it should have been a very large red flag… it was.a turning point where I should have realized what is coming down the pike for me and my family as we were about to get fucked by the RCMP via what we have dubbed Operation Christian and the use of pastors to fuck with out lives in Castlegar but thats another story for another time.
Today, viewed through the lens of everything that has happened since—including the RCMP Duty to Warn, the alleged murder plot, the firebombing of my family home, and Inspector Loeppky’s subsequent decision to close the investigation—I cannot help but revisit that meeting and ask whether it represented nothing more than coincidence or whether it formed part of a much larger chronology that has yet to be fully understood.
One comment from that meeting has stayed with me ever since.
Pastor Loeppky’s brother, was a senior or retired RCMP Deputy Commissioner?! Like WITAF!!!
Pastor Loeppky told me that he intended to discuss the information I had shared with his brother, whom he described as a senior or retired senior RCMP officer. At the time I accepted that statement at face value and thought little more about it.
Years later, after receiving Inspector Loeppky’s letter closing Langley RCMP Investigation No. 2025-39393, that earlier conversation immediately came back to mind. It caused me to ask whether there was any familial relationship between Pastor Aldon Loeppky, Inspector Loeppky, and former RCMP Deputy Commissioner Garry Loeppky. I do not know the answer, nor do I suggest that sharing a surname establishes any conflict or wrongdoing. However, where investigations involve matters of significant public interest, transparency regarding potential relationships is important to maintaining public confidence.
I have to inteject this before continuing.
Who is Deputy Commission Leoppky you might ask?
Well Garry Loeppky is a Former RCMP Deputy Commissioner LOL. Surprise!!!
Garry Loeppky, O.O.M. is a retired Royal Canadian Mounted Police Deputy Commissioner who served approximately 34 years with the RCMP. During his career he held senior operational and executive positions and was responsible for coordinating major criminal investigations at both the national and international levels. Following his retirement, he continued serving in advisory roles, including as Chair of the National DNA Data Bank Advisory Committee. One would think that his brother Pastor Alson Loeppky might want to have mentioned that ya think?
Career Highlights
- Joined the RCMP: April 1972.
- Inspector: Promoted in September 1990.
- Executive Officer to the RCMP Commissioner: Served successive Commissioners Norman Inkster and Philip Murray beginning in 1994.
- Officer in Charge, Criminal Operations (“J” Division – New Brunswick): 1996.
- Commanding Officer, “J” Division (New Brunswick): 1997.
- Deputy Commissioner (Operations / Organized Crime and Operational Policy): Appointed in October 2000, overseeing major national operational and organized crime responsibilities.
National and International Responsibilities
According to official RCMP and Government of Canada publications, Deputy Commissioner Loeppky:
- coordinated and led major investigations in Canada and internationally;
- worked closely with numerous foreign law enforcement agencies;
- lectured in Canada, Australia, Europe and the United States on policing and investigative matters; and
- was awarded the Order of Merit of the Police Forces (O.O.M.).
National DNA Data Bank Advisory Committee
Following retirement, Garry Loeppky served as Chairperson of the National DNA Data Bank Advisory Committee.
The Government of Canada describes his background as follows:
“Deputy Commissioner (Rtd), served with the RCMP for 34 years. Throughout his career, D/Commr. Loeppky was responsible for coordinating and leading major investigations on both domestic and international levels.”
Public Testimony
Deputy Commissioner Loeppky also testified before the Commission of Inquiry into the Actions of Canadian Officials in Relation to Maher Arar, where he discussed RCMP information-sharing practices and intelligence operations. That testimony remains publicly available and is often referenced in discussions regarding RCMP intelligence-sharing policies.

The chronology becomes even more noteworthy when viewed alongside the individuals whose paths repeatedly intersect throughout this story.
It was Svetlana Dalla Lana who first introduced me to Pastor Aldon Loeppky.
As it turns out, I kept the original text message from Pastor Aldon confirming that introduction. At the time, it seemed like an ordinary meeting. Nearly a decade later, however, I find myself looking back at it through a very different lens.
The text message below, dated Sunday, April 23, 2017, confirms that Pastor Aldon Loeppky had been visiting Nathan and Svetlana Dalla Lana’s home that afternoon and that Svetlana was coordinating our meeting by text message. It reads:
“Hi Dave, This is Pastor Aldon connecting with you from Grand Forks. I was over at Nathan & Svet Dalla Lana’s this afternoon and she texted with you while talking with me and tentatively set an appointment for us to meet tomorrow afternoon at Christina Lake…”
Looking back almost ten years later, I am grateful that I kept this message. At the time, I had no reason to believe it would ever become significant. Today, it serves as contemporaneous documentation confirming the connection between Svetlana Dalla Lana and Pastor Aldon Loeppky and establishing the date on which we first met.

Why does that matter?
Because years later, after the events surrounding the alleged murder plot, the RCMP Duty to Warn, and the firebombing of my family’s home, I found myself retracing the chronology and noticing how often the same names appeared. Whether those intersections ultimately prove to be meaningful or entirely coincidental is for others to determine. My purpose is simply to document the chronology as accurately as possible and allow readers to draw their own conclusions.
RCMP OPERATION CHRISTIAN?!
As this series continues, I will also explore what I have come to refer to as “Operation Christian”—a separate investigation into what I believe was a recurring pattern of interactions involving religious figures who unexpectedly took an interest in me, my whistleblowing, and the matters I was reporting.
One of the recurring themes that caught my attention over the years was the number of pastors who, directly or indirectly, appeared to have connections to the RCMP. In some instances, they themselves worked with or alongside the RCMP; in others, they told me they had close family members serving in senior RCMP positions. Standing alone, each encounter may be entirely innocent. Viewed collectively, however, I found the pattern difficult to ignore.
Whether those relationships ultimately prove to be relevant or merely coincidental remains an open question. My intention is to document the chronology, present the evidence I have preserved over the years, and allow readers to decide for themselves. Operation Christian will begin with those seemingly chance introductions and follow where the evidence leads.
At that time, James McFaddin was the pastor at New Life Church. Mr. McFaddin was formerly related to Ms. Dalla Lana through marriage, later became a chaplain with the Castlegar RCMP, and, according to my understanding, had also acted as an RCMP confidential informant. These overlapping personal, church, and policing relationships form part of the chronology that I believe deserves to be documented and understood.
Another reason this chronology remains significant to me relates to the recordings that private investigator Jolene Johnson later provided to the RCMP during the investigation into the alleged conspiracy to murder Jessica Yaniv Simpson and me.
After Ms. Johnson had submitted those recordings to police, she allowed me to hear portions of them. Based on my recollection, one of the recordings included a statement attributed to Michael Martinz suggesting that there were multiple people who wanted me dead, and my recollection is that James McFaddin was mentioned during that discussion. I cannot speak to how investigators interpreted that recording or what weight, if any, they placed upon it. However, given that Inspector Loeppky’s June 29, 2026 letter confirms that investigators reviewed audio recordings before concluding the investigation, I am left wondering whether that recording formed part of the evidence reviewed.

What I will say that Michael Martinz is heard as saying on the audio recordings is that “there are a lot of people who want Drover (me) dead including James McFaddin” so yeah that happened and that was as clear as a bell. I guess the RCMP missed that recording? Oh no thats right James works for the Casltegar RCMP as a Chaplain .. oh right I almost forgot lol.
Standing alone, each of these events may have an innocent explanation.
Viewed collectively, however, they create a chronology that I believe warrants careful scrutiny:
- a 2017 introduction by Svetlana Dalla Lana to Pastor Aldon Loeppky;
- Pastor Loeppky’s statement that he would discuss my concerns with his senior RCMP brother;
- years later, an investigation into an alleged conspiracy to murder Jessica Yaniv Simpson and me;
- private investigator Jolene Johnson providing recordings to the RCMP that led to the investigation and my Duty to Warn;
- and ultimately, Inspector Loeppky signing the letter closing that same investigation.
I am not asking readers to reach any predetermined conclusion.
I am asking them to consider whether these connections, viewed together, raise legitimate questions that deserve transparent answers. In my view, maintaining public confidence in policing requires not only that investigations be conducted fairly, but also that any actual or perceived conflicts of interest be openly acknowledged and addressed.
Conclusion
If you’ve made it this far, thank you for taking the time to follow what is undoubtedly one of the most extraordinary chronologies I have ever documented.
The LOEPPKY’s and the RCMP
Are all these Loeppkys related?… and worse are they all in on this gig?
If they are, is that simply an extraordinary coincidence—or does it represent something that should have been disclosed in the interests of transparency?
And if there are familial relationships, could they have created an actual or perceived conflict of interest at best in Langley RCMP Investigation No. 2025-39393?… and corruption and coverup at the Langley RCMP at worst?!
I do not know the answers to those questions.
What I do know is that my chronology now includes Pastor Aldon Loeppky, former RCMP Deputy Commissioner Garry Loeppky, and Inspector Loeppky—the officer who ultimately signed the June 29, 2026 letter concluding the investigation into the alleged conspiracy to murder Jessica Yaniv Simpson and me.
Perhaps there is no connection whatsoever.
Perhaps these events are nothing more than an extraordinary series of coincidences.
Or perhaps there is a broader story that has yet to be fully understood.
That is precisely why I wrote this article.
This article is not intended to be the final word on Inspector Loeppky, Pastor Aldon Loeppky, former Deputy Commissioner Garry Loeppky, the RCMP investigation, or the many individuals whose names appear throughout this chronology. If anything, it is simply another chapter in a story that continues to unfold.
As I see it, the June 29, 2026 letter signed by Inspector Loeppky does not end the story—it begins a new line of inquiry. Rather than answering the questions raised by Langley RCMP Investigation No. 2025-39393, it raises new ones. Those questions extend beyond the investigation itself and into the chronology of events spanning nearly a decade.
Whether that chronology ultimately reveals nothing more than coincidence or something far more significant remains to be seen.
One thing, however, is certain:
Chronology has a way of exposing the truth.
There is considerably more evidence, correspondence, photographs, audio recordings, and documentation than I have included here. In the interest of keeping this article to a manageable length, I have intentionally left out numerous details that may become the subject of future articles.
There may well be a Part Two.
In fact, I suspect there will have to be.
The reason I wrote this article was to circle back to one individual whose name now appears at a critical point in this chronology—Inspector Loeppky.
It was Inspector Loeppky who signed the June 29, 2026 letter formally advising me that Langley RCMP Investigation No. 2025-39393 had concluded with insufficient evidence to support criminal charges. That letter is the catalyst for the questions raised throughout this article.
As I reflected on that correspondence, I was reminded of my meeting with Pastor Aldon Loeppky nearly a decade earlier, during which he told me that his brother was a senior RCMP officer. I later learned of former Deputy Commissioner Garry Loeppky’s distinguished RCMP career and could not help but wonder whether these individuals are related. I do not know the answer to that question, and I make no assertion that they are. However, if they are, I believe that relationship should simply be acknowledged in the interests of transparency.
My concerns extend beyond surnames.
What I question is the chronology.
If these events are viewed only through the lens of the past year, they appear extraordinary enough. But what if the chronology actually began years earlier?
What if the events of 2025 and 2026—including the reported murder plot, the RCMP Duty to Warn, the firebombing of my family home, and the subsequent closure of the investigation—are merely the latest chapter in a story that began almost a decade ago?
What if the real story is not simply about organized crime?
What if the real story is about the RCMP itself?
Those are questions that I believe deserve careful, independent consideration.
I am not asking readers to accept my conclusions.
I am asking them to examine the chronology.
Read the documents.
Read Inspector Loeppky’s June 29, 2026 letter.
Review the timeline.
Consider the recurring names.
Then decide for yourself whether this is merely an extraordinary series of coincidences or whether the chronology points toward something larger that has yet to be fully understood.
Perhaps everything described here has an innocent explanation.
Perhaps it does not.
Time—and the evidence—will ultimately answer those questions.
Until then, I will continue doing what whistleblowers have always done:
Document. Preserve. Publish.
