One of the first direct threats I ever received came on August 16, 2014 over a decade ago!!
It did not come from a stranger.
It came from an individual who later became President of EmerEx at material times, while lawsuits, criminal complaints, and professional complaints were being used against me. This same individual later acted as a complainant and witness under oath in professional association proceedings that ultimately stripped me of my ability to work as a geologist in both Alberta and British Columbia — a chain of events that directly contributed to my family losing our home and becoming effectively homeless in 2018.
Within days of receiving this email, I took it to the Castlegar RCMP (on or about August 18, 2014). I was turned away and told it was a “grey area,” though the officer did photocopy the letter and retain it.
With the benefit of hindsight — and lived experience — there was nothing grey about it.
What follows is the email exactly as received, with only limited redactions for clarity.
Threatening Email (Verbatim)

Drover, I am going to remind you that you are being sued for embezzlement, theft, fraud and breach. All of your phoney claims of report fraud and insufficient disclosure are nothing but meaningless noise. Every agency you have complained to has told you to get lost. Your rants are truly meaningless.
None of your requests of me are a legal requirement. Whatever extraordinary rights you feel you can demand of me are non existent. Period. You will not receive any accommodation beyond that of any shareholder regardless of how important you believe you are or how many fictional rights you think you have. In my mind you are nothing more than a tawdry thief.
This will proceed to trial and there is no doubt in my mind that you will be found guilty. When that happens (not if, but when) I will personally send a copy of the results to [REDACTED – Professional Regulator], AAPG, CSPG and the TSX. Whatever thoughts you have of any career or employment in energy will be over. Thieves are not entitled to sit on boards, be directors or officers. Professional organizations rescind membership. Companies do not knowingly hire thieves. Banks do not knowingly lend to thieves. That is your future.
Had you half a brain you would voluntarily make full restitution including the salary you took and submit your shares for cancellation. That’s what a smart person would do. You will spend more than that at trial, still lose and we will pursue both you and your wife for the money.
If there is one thing I have learned about you, you do not have the intelligence to see what is about to happen to you. You think you can bluff, bully and threaten your way through this. I can promise you that will not happen. The facts will prevail not your meaningless diversions.
The witnesses against you in court will have impeccable reputations. And they will all say the same thing and we will all have nothing to lose because we will be telling the truth. And we have records to back it up.
Your choice Drover. Think it through very carefully. Admit your actions, make restitution and you may salvage your family and your career. Continue on the path you are on and you will lose everything. That’s a guarantee.
Going forward all your email addresses and your wife’s have been blocked. I will not waste another second of my time on you.
If you had half a brain you would end this now. Full restitution and cancel your shares. Nothing less.
Why this matters
This email is not an insult.
It is not “heated language.”
It is a threat blueprint — spelling out career destruction, professional annihilation, financial ruin, and explicit pursuit of my wife — years before those consequences materialized almost exactly as described.
This was one of the first threats.
It was not the last.
Threats, retaliation, and escalation have continued in various forms for over 11 years, and counting — with no meaningful institutional intervention and no end in sight.
The part people should focus on
There’s a reason the RCMP calling this “grey” still blows my mind.
Look at what he threatened to do:
Destroy my career by targeting professional associations Poison employment prospects (“companies do not knowingly hire thieves”) Threaten financial ruin, including explicitly: “we will pursue both you and your wife” Cut off communication and isolate (“all your email addresses… blocked”) Demand capitulation: “Full restitution and cancel your shares. Nothing less.”
Now line that up against the real-world outcome:
I lost my professional standing.
My career was wrecked.
Our family suffered catastrophic financial harm.
We lost our home and ended up effectively homeless in 2018.
So no — not “grey.”
It was an early warning shot and, in my view, part of a broader campaign of coercion and containment.
Not the last threat — not even close
This was one of the first threats I received.
It was not the last.
Over the years that followed, I have received more threats, escalating pressure, and what I allege are coordinated smears and retaliations — including threats I consider far more serious than this one — continuing right up to today.
11 years. Going on 12. Then 13. Then 15. Then 20, if nothing changes.
That’s the part that’s hardest to explain to people who haven’t lived it:
This doesn’t “end.”
It just mutates.
The spineless fuck even threatens to go after my wife and my family …. He’s not a gangsters that’s for sure because that goes against the code .. talk about criminal harassment!! This would make Svetlana Dalla Lana and Danny Keith Martin blush!!
Final Note
For absolute clarity: I am gagged by the courts in Alberta and the ABAC from even saying this motherfucker’s name.
That gag has been in place since 2016.
So when people ask why names are redacted — this is why.
Not because the threats didn’t happen.
Not because the evidence doesn’t exist.
But because I am legally restrained from naming the person who wrote this email, despite the fact that much of what he threatened came true.
That’s how they got you and then get you time after time with fabricated breaches of the gag orders and it’s contempt after contempt until they get you in jail which at that point you are doomed… credibility gone!!
