Calgary Police Service: The Officers Who Touched My File since 2014 and Then Disappeared ā¦ poof gone including two Calgary Police Chiefs .. a chair of the Calgary Police Commission .. a Calgary Police Union President. A coincidence? You decide?

This post follows Part 1, where I named and documented corrupt RCMP conduct connected to my unlawful incarceration, witness coercion, and institutional cover-ups.

This is Part 2 – THE CALGARY POLICE
This time, the focus is the Calgary Police Service and the specific officers and executives who touched my file over multiple years ā and then, one by one, vanished.
This is not conjecture.
This is based on letters, dismissals, ATIP records, bounced emails, and official CPS / CPC correspondence.
To any reasonable person, the pattern is unmistakable.
The Procedural Cover-Up: How Complaints Were Buried
My formal complaints against CPS officers were never investigated on the merits.
Instead, they were:
Dismissed as āout of timeā under s.43(11) of the Police Act, Shielded from appeal by the Calgary Police Commission, And quietly closed by Chief Mark Neufeld.
This was confirmed in writing by the Calgary Police Commission, signed by Chair Bonita Croft.
No investigation.
No findings.
No accountability.
Just a procedural kill switch.
The CPS Officers Named ā And Why They Matter
The following CPS members were explicitly named, copied, or directly involved in my complaints, correspondence, or underlying files.
Every name below appears in official emails, complaints, or CPS records.
Detective. Subject of my misconduct complaint. Complaint dismissed by Chief Neufeld without investigation. Later no longer reachable via CPS email.
Detective DāArcy Guichon was the second Calgary Police detective to investigateāand botchāthe EmerEx Oil & Gas fraud, in 2018. This followed an earlier failed investigation by Detective Dean Nichol in 2014. I have since obtained the complete CPS investigation file through FOIP, which documents both investigative failures.
EmerEx was my former family-and-friends oil company, and I was a shareholder with direct knowledge of the individuals involved. After I became a liability because of what I knew, the company was taken from me.
At the same time, EmerEx was effectively held hostage within the offices of a separate $100-million mining fraud that was under investigation by the RCMP and the Alberta Securities Commission. The practical effect was to silence me as a witness and suppress what I knew about the perpetrators operating across both schemes.
When I filed a formal misconduct complaint against Det. Guichon on November 30, 2020, Chief Mark Neufeld dismissed it on December 23, 2020 under s.43(11) of the Alberta Police Act, solely on the basis that it was filed more than one year after the alleged incident. No investigation was conducted and no findings on the merits were made. The Calgary Police Commission confirmed on January 20, 2021 that it had no authority to review or hear any appeal of the Chiefās decision, effectively closing the file without scrutiny.
Never cleared on the merits.
Simply buried.
2. Dean Nichol
Detective involved in an earlier botched investigation of EmerEx in 2014. Complaint dismissed under former Chief Roger Chaffin. Pattern repeated later under Neufeld.
Same playbook. Different year.
3. Lak Johal
Inspector. Long-standing familiarity with my file. Copied on complaints and correspondence. CPS email later bounced / no longer existed.
Another quiet disappearance.
4. Sean Gregson
Named and copied in formal complaints. Never addressed allegations publicly or on the record.
Silence is a choice.
5. Michil Saad
Named and copied. No denial. No engagement. No clarification.
Also a choice.
6. Scott Todd
Named and copied. Same pattern: no response, no transparency. More on him later!
Named and copied. Part of the same closed circle. More on him later!
Former Chief. Oversaw earlier dismissals and internal shielding. Announced departure shortly after my complaints escalated.
Another coincidence, apparently.
Heās the former Chief of the Calgary police the most corrupt of the corrupt .. more on him later:
9. Cst. Flynn (with Debbie Hubert / Debbie Kunert)
Calgary Police Service constable who conductedāand botchedāa criminal harassment investigation against me in 2017. The allegation concerned Debbie Kunert, then Executive Director of the CFA Society, during the height of #MeToo. Debbie Hubert was involved in advancing or supporting the complaint and was not a CPS member. The allegation was false and unsupported. After I challenged the investigation internally, Cst. Flynn ceased to be with CPS. Based on the timing and circumstances, I believe Cst. Flynn was fired, and the matter was quietly covered up rather than corrected.
CST Flynn simply vanished in January 2018 after botching the Kunert criminal investigation Iāve been looking for her even since ā¦ I think she was moved out east to really ensure this matter was covered up. I used this matter to in part get rid of the former Chief of the Calgary Police Roger Chaffin – more on him later I just wanted to get the list out first.
10. Inspector Paul Wyatt
Named on the CPS / Calgary Police Commission correspondence related to my complaints. Remained in position while others involved in these matters disappeared. In my opinion, based on the documentary record and timing of events, Wyatt was closely involved behind the scenes and acted as a containment or clean-up figure, ensuring issues were managed and insulated from scrutiny. A separate, detailed blog post will address Wyattās role specifically, as his continued presence is, in my view, a significant indicator within the broader pattern of CPS corruption.

11. Brian Thiessen
Former Chair of the Calgary Police Commission. Named in correspondence related to oversight during material times. Subsequently ceased to hold CPC oversight roles. Based on the circumstances and timing, I believe Thiessen was fired or forced out, though this was not publicly acknowledged.
Brian Theissen wasnāt a cop he was a lawyer at a law firm in Calgary that was very very much deeply involved in my case and the $100 million dollar mining fraud that had stolen EmerEx from me thatās all I can say for the moment.
Nothing to see here folks lol
12. Les Kominski
Former Chair of the Calgary Police Commission. Oversaw CPS governance during periods directly relevant to my complaints. Subsequently ceased to hold CPC oversight roles. Based on the surrounding circumstances, I believe Kominski was fired or forced out, rather than departing voluntarily. Check this news article out with his photo .. heās clearly such a beauty lol .. you may remember this guy played for the Calgary Stampeders .. clearly got too many knocks to the head!!
13. Mark Neufeld
On May 2, 2025, Chief Constable **Mark Neufeld resigned as head of the Calgary Police Service, with approximately two years remaining on his contract. The resignation was effective immediately. The Calgary Police Commission appointed Katie McLellan as interim chief the same day. In its formal media release, the Commission publicly praised Neufeldās leadership and stated it would not immediately commence a search for a new chief, citing the need for stability during a period of high demand and major events.
In my opinion, an early resignation with years left on a contractāmirroring the exit of former Chief Roger Chaffināstrongly suggests a forced departure rather than a voluntary one, regardless of the public messaging. Iām sure there is nothing to see here: just another Calgary police chief stepping down early, again, with years left on the contract. Another one down.
The Pattern of disappearing many Calgary Police and now two police Chiefs who touched my file and covered it up ā¦dating back to 2014 that No One Can Explain Away of even knows or saw what I saw!!
Here is the undisputed sequence:
Serious complaints made. Complaints dismissed procedurally ā not investigated. Oversight body claims no power to review. Officers later retire, resign, or vanish. Emails bounce. Files close. Silence follows.
If there were nothing to this, people wouldnāt keep disappearing.
Thatās not how innocent systems behave.
My Standing Position (On the Record)
I stand by this statement:
The Calgary Police Service is affected by systemic corruption, and the record supports that it originates at senior levels.
Chief Neufeldās continued presence itself raises questions ā because his removal would make the pattern too obvious to ignore.

I formally invite any CPS officer named above to challenge my version of events on the record. Thereās many more Calgary Police to be added to this list this is just a started I wanted to put out on Christmas Eve Day.
Ask questions.
Dispute documents.
Explain the emails.
Explain the dismissals.
Explain the departures.
