Each of whom has actual or constructive knowledge of the matters described herein, and each of whom is clearly acting in coordination or reliance upon one another in relation to the false attribution of authorship of the GangsterismOut blog and the “Ace Ventura” persona.
This publication is issued for the purposes of:
- Formal notice
- Record preservation
- Rebuttal of false attribution
- Protection against malicious prosecution, defamation, or abuse of process
- Use as evidence in court or regulatory proceedings
All parties are now on notice that the claims addressed below are expressly denied, documented as false, and already communicated to law enforcement and municipal authorities prior to this publication.

This publication is made to formally, publicly, and unequivocally state the following facts:
- I am not the individual known as “Ace Ventura.”
- I do not operate, control, contribute to, or author the blog known as GangsterismOut.
- Any claims by Danny Keith Martin, Jolene Johnson, or any other person asserting otherwise are false.
- This denial has already been communicated directly to law enforcement and municipal authorities.
- This publication is intended to preserve the public record and may be relied upon in court proceedings if required.
What follows is the verbatim content of an email I sent on May 15, 2025, with email addresses removed for privacy.

FOR CONTEXT
On May 15, 2025, I sent an email to the Castlegar RCMP Staff Sergeant, the Mayor of Castlegar, and Castlegar City Council, explicitly stating that I am not “Ace Ventura” and not the author of the blog GangsterismOut.
In that email, I also noted that I had already conveyed this same information to Svetlana Dalla Lana, the former sister-in-law of Castlegar Mayor Maria McFaddin. Svetlana’s former husband works for the RCMP.
Both my family and Svetlana’s family attended New Life Church in Castlegar, which was co-pastored by Maria McFaddin and her husband James. My wife served as a Director of the Church, and both my wife and I were heavily involved in church activities. RCMP members from the Castlegar detachment also attended this church with their families. My wife and I taught Sunday School, and I taught G47.
In short, the people referenced above knew me personally and knew I was not “Ace Ventura.” This includes Svetlana Dalla Lana.
Despite this prior knowledge, I am now facing false claims and harassment asserting otherwise. These facts were clearly set out in my May 15, 2025 email to authorities.mily that started on the date of this email and has lasted until today 7 months later!!
CLARIFICATION REGARDING MAY 15, 2025 COMMUNICATIONS AND SUBSEQUENT BREACHES
Within the May 15, 2025 email reproduced above, there is a contemporaneous text message exchange between myself and Svetlana Dalla Lana. In that exchange, Ms. Dalla Lana directly asked me whether I was “Ace Ventura.” I responded unequivocally that I was not.
That exchange occurred on May 15, 2025, the same day Ms. Dalla Lana and I reached a mutual cease and desist agreement, which she also communicated to Danny Keith Martin. I further warned Ms. Dalla Lana at that time that Danny Keith Martin appeared to believe—incorrectly—that I was Ace Ventura, and that this false belief was already causing escalation. Here is that insert just to attest to the veracity of this evidence which will be used in Court if need be:
IDENTIFICATION OF THE MAY 15, 2025 TEXT EXCHANGE BETWEEN MYSELF AND SVETLANA DALLA LANA
The text message exchange referenced above occurred on May 15, 2025 and involved Svetlana Dalla Lana, the Mayor of Castlegar.
In that exchange, Mayor Dalla Lana directly asked me whether I was “Ace Ventura.” I responded immediately and unequivocally that I was not, stating words to the effect of: “Of course not.”
At the time of this exchange:
- Mayor Dalla Lana was aware of escalating online harassment directed at me and my family
- She was also aware that Danny Keith Martin was asserting—incorrectly—that I was Ace Ventura
- My denial was clear, contemporaneous, and documented in writing
For clarity of record, I expressly deny being Ace Ventura or having any involvement with the GangsterismOut blog. That denial was communicated directly, in writing, and in real time to a senior municipal official on May 15, 2025, well before subsequent escalations.
Despite that agreement, Danny Keith Martin has breached the cease and desist continuously from day one, for a period now exceeding seven months.
Importantly, Danny Keith Martin’s fixation on this false attribution is not recent. He believed I was Ace Ventura in May 2025, continued to assert the same belief in October 2025, and maintains that belief to this day, despite repeated, documented denials provided directly to him, to third parties, and to law enforcement.
This is a Post by Danny Keith Martin from October 2025 that is self explanatory:
This ongoing conduct has included threatening language, references to subpoenas, warrants, and court orders, and communications timed around holidays, which I reasonably interpret as intimidation and harassment, not lawful process.
Of particular concern, Danny Keith Martin authored a communication addressed to “Ace Ventura” in which he stated he was going to “slit [Ace Ventura’s] throat.” (which was posted on GansterismOut blog) Given his repeated assertions that I am Ace Ventura, it is reasonable to infer that this statement was intended as a threat toward me, or at minimum reflects a reckless disregard for my safety arising from his continued false belief.
This pattern demonstrates a persistent refusal to accept documented facts, repeated breach of a cease and desist agreement, and an escalating course of conduct directed at me and my family based entirely on a false premise—namely, that I am Ace Ventura or the author of GangsterismOut, which I am not.

Dear Staff Sgt. Monty Taylor,
This is an emergency update regarding escalating threats believed to be originating from Danny Martin, who I understand is operating or affiliated with the X account @freedomacco.
Earlier today, the following threat was posted publicly under a thread initiated by the account @CanadaStoxx (Ace Ventura):
“The clock is ticking David @selkirkcollege”
“Every time you post, I will post too. The clock is ticking.”I have posted a snapshot of the original email of this middle part section for authenticity reasons:
These messages are being posted directly beneath threads that reference my family, my whistleblower work, and my wife’s employer, Selkirk College.
I have just received word that Danny Martin now believes I am the user behind @CanadaStoxx (Ace Ventura), which is false. I clarified this directly to Svetlana Dalla Lana this morning, stating unequivocally that I am not affiliated with or behind that account.
Nonetheless, Mr. Martin appears to be intentionally escalating and threatening retaliation targeting my wife at her workplace, despite multiple previous cease and desist communications.
This is the communication with Svetlana via text message as we were working out the Truce:
This behavior is malicious, coordinated, and harassing. I am requesting immediate action. It represents a credible and ongoing threat that appears to target myself, Erin Graham, our families, and my wife’s employment.
These actions may constitute criminal harassment, intimidation, and online stalking under the Criminal Code of Canada.

I have additional screenshots and documentation and am willing to submit a full report if a formal complaint is required.
This situation is urgent and may require proactive contact with Selkirk College to ensure my wife’s safety and workplace security are not compromised.
I am encouraging my wife to attend the Castlegar RCMP detachment immediately to ensure her safety and to make a complaint.

🔎 CLARIFICATION FOR AVOIDANCE OF DOUBT
Let this be absolutely clear:
- Black Sheep Whistleblower is my blog
- It is hosted on WordPress under an account I have held since 2016
- That account was largely dormant for approximately eight years
- I resumed publishing in September 2025
- GangsterismOut is not my blog
- I do not write for it, operate it, or control it
- The two sites have nothing to do with one another — whatsoever
The suggestion that I secretly operate multiple blogs under false identities is fiction, and the continued repetition of that claim appears designed to harass, intimidate, or manufacture grounds for false criminal or civil action.
