Introduction
For more than a decade I have been involved in multiple serious court proceedings in both Alberta and British Columbia—primarily as a defendant, but occasionally as a plaintiff. These matters have taken me before the Alberta Court of King’s Bench and the BC Supreme Court. Over roughly twelve years I have retained about twenty-four lawyers, including two who were funded by the RCMP. Despite that, I have often had to represent myself when counsel withdrew shortly before hearings or were pressured off my cases. In total, I have drafted and filed thousands of pages of legal documents—statements of defence, applications, contempt motions, security-for-costs submissions, and more. That experience has given me a clear understanding of how the legal system works and how evidence must be presented.
It is against this background that I now face what I regard as the most clear-cut and disturbing case of harassment and defamation I have encountered. Since May 2025, Danny Keith Martin (known online as @HungryTrucker) has waged a relentless campaign of online abuse directed at me, my family, and several people associated with us. His conduct has included publishing false and damaging statements on social media, doxxing, contacting my wife’s employer, and sending messages to senior executives at the college where she is a director. Mr. Martin has repeatedly claimed—both publicly and privately—that he has filed or is about to file a lawsuit against me in Alberta. Based on the record of what he himself has written and posted, any reasonable person (let alone a judge) can see that he has no factual or legal foundation for such a claim.
I, on the other hand, will respond—if and when he commences an action—by filing a Statement of Defence and Counterclaim supported by the extensive documentation now gathered. The posts collected below speak for themselves: they reveal a consistent pattern of defamation, harassment, and intimidation that has placed my family and me at personal and professional risk.
Examples of Danny Keith Martin’s Public Statements

These are only a few of dozens of similar statements published by Mr. Martin between May and October 2025. Each one is false, defamatory, and unsupported by any evidence. Collectively they form a pattern of conduct that any court would recognize as malicious and reckless.
This dossier is presented so that readers, journalists, and future courts can review the material directly. It is not about retaliation; it is about truth, accountability, and documentation. Further updates, including any filings in the Alberta action once served, will be added here to ensure the public record remains complete and transparent.

This dossier, Danny Keith Martin (@HungryTrucker) – Defamation & Harassment Dossier (Version 3), compiles the posts, screenshots, and correspondence that demonstrate the pattern of conduct.
It includes evidence of online harassment, doxxing, direct threats, and contact with my wife’s employer—actions that have had serious real-world consequences.
In my view, this represents one of the clearest ongoing cases of harassment and defamation the courts are likely to encounter.
If Mr. Martin proceeds with his threatened lawsuit, I will file the required Statement of Defence and a Counterclaim.
That counterclaim will name not only Mr. Martin but also others who enabled or ignored the abuse—including, potentially, public officials in Castlegar and law-enforcement bodies that failed to intervene.
I am fully confident in my position: the evidence already on record speaks for itself, and my prospects of success are strong.
About the Burden of Proof in Defamation
In Canadian law, the onus of proof in a defamation action rests primarily on the plaintiff—the person bringing the claim.
To succeed, the plaintiff must show that
- a statement was published to at least one other person,
- the words referred to the plaintiff, and
- the words would tend to lower the plaintiff’s reputation in the eyes of a reasonable person.
Once those elements are established, the defendant may raise defences such as truth (justification), fair comment, or qualified privilege.
If the defendant can show that the statements complained of were substantially true—or, as in my case, that the allegedly “defamatory” statements are simply factual documentation of another person’s conduct—the claim fails.
In short, I do not have to prove that I am innocent of crimes that never occurred; I can simply produce my clean criminal-record check, which confirms that I have never been convicted or jailed for any offence.
That evidence alone meets and surpasses any reasonable evidentiary burden.
This blog post therefore serves one purpose: to place the facts on record.

Overview
Since the initial release of this dossier, Danny Keith Martin (@HungryTrucker) has escalated his conduct from defamation and harassment to explicit criminal threats and doxxing behavior.
The following section documents verbatim excerpts of those threats (as preserved from public posts, emails, and screenshots) and provides context for each incident.

- Firearm-related threats directed at myself and Ms. Erin Graham.
- Sexualised mock-ups using our likenesses.
- References to Ms. Svetlana Dalla Lana, including imagery implying her participation in violent acts toward us.
One post in particular shows a weapon being aimed at figures recognisable as myself and Ms. Graham, captioned “For Svetlana.”
Another depicts a sexual object positioned toward my face while Ms. Graham appears beside me.
These are false, fabricated visuals created with the intent to humiliate and intimidate.
Taken together, they constitute visual harassment, sexual harassment, and implied threats of violence under sections 162.1 (Publication of an Intimate Image Without Consent) and 264 (Criminal Harassment) of the Criminal Code.

Pattern and Risk
The behaviour now documented includes:
- Written defamation and harassment (May–Oct 2025).
- Public posting of home addresses and identifying images of myself, Ms. Graham, and my wife — effectively doxxing us.

- Contact with employers and third parties (including the executives at my wife’s workplace) to extend reputational harm.
This cumulative conduct demonstrates a sustained and deliberate campaign intended to cause fear, reputational damage, and emotional distress.
It also elevates the risk profile from simple online harassment to conduct that may meet the statutory definitions of criminal harassment and publication of an intimate image without consent, as well as multiple torts under civil law (defamation, invasion of privacy, intentional infliction of mental suffering).
Harassment, Threatening, and Sexualised Imagery Targeting Erin Graham (“Sheep Lady Love”) and David Drover
Overview
Between May 16 and September 20, 2025, Danny Keith Martin (known on X/Twitter as @HungryTrucker) produced and shared a series of defamatory, sexually explicit, and threatening posts and images targeting David Drover and Erin Graham (Sheep Lady Love).
