Catch up with Part 1:

“Funny How Sara Blames My Report on This Happening” Jolene Johnson PI to Michael Martinz (alleged by Jolene to be a CIA op in Canada)

BLACK SHEEP | October 21, 2026

“I Would Hope That This Is Not a Result of Your Report…”

Those are the words attributed to Sara McDonald, who worked with private investigator Jolene Johnson at West Point Investigations Corp., in text messages concerning the firebombing of our family home.

Sara reportedly wrote to Jolene:

“I would hope that this is not a result of your report…”

And then:

“Like this isn’t a fucking game.”

But perhaps the most revealing statement comes from Jolene herself.

In a separate text-message exchange with Michael Martinz (apparently a CIA op in Canada according to Jolene as Michael was her client at material times and the former fiance of Svetlana Dalla Lana nee Rilkoof the former sister in law of Castlegars former mayor Maria McFaddin and her husband who used ot work for the Castlegar RCMP) … Martinz also known as “Miggy,” Jolene reportedly wrote:

“Funny how Sara blames my report on this happening.”

Read that again: “Funny how Sara bames my report on this happening.” Like WITAF!!!!

In the actual text-message exchange reproduced below, Jolene Johnson reportedly made this extraordinary statement to Michael Martinz, also known as I have said many times as “Miggy, (on Signal)” on January 22, 2026 — the very day our family home was firebombed around noon.

At approximately 6:15 p.m. that same evening, just six hours after the attack, Johnson and Martinz were exchanging text messages about the incident, including Sara McDonald’s apparent concern that Johnson’s investigation report may have contributed to what happened.

The timing, the people involved, and the reference to Johnson’s own report are impossible to ignore.

According to the messages, someone working with Jolene Johnson was questioning whether Johnson’s own investigation report had contributed to the attack on our home.

And Johnson apparently understood that concern well enough to repeat it to Michael Martinz.

Why would Sara raise that possibility?

What did she know about the report?

What did she know about its distribution?

And what did she know about the people who received it?

Those are the questions at the centre of this investigation.

The quoted messages are excerpts previously supplied to Black Sheep; their complete sequence, dates, and surrounding context still require verification against the original screenshots. They document Sara’s reported concern, not proof that Johnson caused the firebombing.

But now consider what happened just sixteen days before the attack.

These are excerpts from text messages Sara McDonald sent to Jolene Johnson, which Jolene herself subsequently shared with me. The messages were also included in the text-message exchanges between Jolene and Michael Martinz, also known as “Miggy.”

You just cant make this shit up!!!! You just can’t!!!

Sara McDonald Warned: “People Are Going to Make the Connection.”

Perhaps even more significant is the statement attributed to Sara McDonald:

“People are going to make the connection. You put his name out there to all of these people…”

What connection was Sara referring to?

My concern is that Sara recognized the potential consequences of Jolene Johnson’s investigation report, which identified me as Ace Ventura, the author of Gangsterism Out — an identification I categorically dispute… well not dispute its just not true actually.

On January 6, 2026, that report was circulated to numerous individuals, including addresses associated with the Sandher family, who had been the subject of coverage on Gangsterism Out. I have also reported allegations that threats to kill the blogger had previously been made, although the source and circumstances of those threats require independent verification.

Was Sara warning Jolene that people might connect the distribution of that report with the firebombing of my home? I not only think she was I know she was!!!

That is how I interpret her reported remarks, particularly when read alongside Jolene’s statement:

“Funny how Sara blames my report on this happening.”

My concern is that a disputed identification may have redirected hostility toward me and my family, with devastating consequences. On January 22, 2026, our home was deliberately attacked while my disabled daughter and I were inside.

The January 6 emails document the distribution of the allegations, but they do not establish that Michael Martinz helped distribute them or that any particular recipient participated in the attack.

Sara’s reported words raise a serious question: Did she recognize that circulating my name as Ace Ventura could expose an innocent family to danger? Why did Sarah not warn me before as she works with Jolene Johnson … she”s complicit in the firebombing of our home as well actually imo!!

That question deserves a thorough investigation, including examination of the original messages, the report’s distribution, and the evidence identifying those responsible for the firebombing.

So, Who Is Sara McDonald — And Why Was She Questioning Jolene Johnson’s Report?

Sara McDonald is a private investigator associated with West Point Investigations Corp., the investigation company headed by Jolene Johnson.

She is not simply an unrelated observer commenting on the January 22, 2026 firebombing of our family home.

McDonald is specifically identified in the twelve-page West Point investigation report that accused me of operating Gangsterism Out.

On page 4, the report refers to her as:

“Investigator S. MacDonald”

The report also describes communications involving McDonald, Johnson, and Jessica Simpson.

And that makes McDonald’s reported reaction to the firebombing particularly important.

In text messages attributed to Sara yet again I repeat, she told Jolene in text messages which Jolene sent to Michael on the afternoon of the firebombing:

“I would hope that this is not a result of your report…”

Followed by:

“Like this isn’t a fucking game.”

Does this not remind you of the saying its all fun and games until someone loses an eye?!

Then, in a separate exchange with Michael Martinz, Jolene reportedly remarked:

“Funny how Sara blames my report on this happening.”

Think again about the significance of that exchange.

A private investigator working with Johnson reportedly questioned whether Johnson’s report had contributed to the attack on our home… again like WITAF is going on here!?!?!

The report had been circulated sixteen days before the firebombing, including to addresses associated with the Sandher family and other people involved in disputes concerning Gangsterism Out… and many others who the blog writes about and these peoples are bad dudes and major gangsters across Canada!!

And the account claiming to be the actual author had expressly denied that I was involved with the website.

What did Sara know about the report’s distribution? What prompted her concern? And why did Johnson characterize Sara’s remarks as blaming her report?

Those questions deserve answers.

The excerpts establish a reported concern, not proof of who was responsible for the firebombing. The original dated messages must be examined before any stronger conclusion can be drawn.

January 6, 2026: The Report That Named Me as Ace Ventura

On January 6, 2026, an email circulated from:

end.harrassment.now@proton.me

Its subject line read:

“Details on the Owner and Operator of Gangersterismout.com – DAVID DROVER”

The email accompanied a twelve-page report bearing the letterhead of West Point Investigations Corp.

The report was signed by Jolene Johnson, a licensed private investigator. But it makes me think she was imitated here and tbh I think that Michael Martinz wrote that but that is just my gut thinking that but I am thinking not even oelen would write something that egregiously wrong… to get a guy murdered for it or rahter house firebombed with his disabled daughter home!!! That is completely fucked up!!!

Here is that original email with the names included so you can see it for yourself:

January 6, 2026 — Who Received Jolene Johnson’s Report, and Why?

Take a close look at the distribution list below:

On January 6, 2026, just 16 days before our family home was firebombed, a twelve-page investigation report signed by private investigator Jolene Johnson was circulated to members of the Sandher family, their legal representative James Parrish, a BC Supreme Court Registry address associated with William Gallagher, and several other individuals and businesses.

The accompanying email identified me as the supposed owner and operator of Gangsterism Out, an allegation I categorically deny. Remarkably, it also included my residential address — the very home that would be firebombed sixteen days later.

What particularly concerns me is the inclusion of William Gallagher, a BC Supreme Court Registry official. Given my history of litigation and the court restrictions requiring me to obtain leave before filing certain proceedings, I want to understand why his government email address appeared among the recipients of this private investigation report. His inclusion does not establish that he requested, read, or acted upon it.

I do not know all the other recipients or why they were selected.

And here’s the extraordinary part: On January 7, the account identifying itself as Daryl MacAskill, the author of Gangsterism Out, expressly stated that I had nothing to do with the website. That same day, I warned RCMP investigators that this disputed identification could expose my family to retaliation or violence. This is a snapshot of the original:

Sixteen days after the report circulated, our home was firebombed.

Was that timing a coincidence, or did the circulation of this disputed report contribute to the danger my family faced?

That remains an unanswered question — and one that deserves a thorough, evidence-based investigation.

Its central allegation was that I was behind Gangsterism Out, a controversial website whose author used the name Ace Ventura.

I have repeatedly denied being Ace Ventura or operating that website. as per these black sheep blogs and look at these dates:

For the Record YET AGAIN FFS: I Am NOT Ace Ventura — And I Said So Long Before the Firebombing

Let me make something absolutely clear: I am not Ace Ventura, I have never operated Gangsterism Out, and I have repeatedly stated this publicly and directly to the RCMP.

These denials did not suddenly appear after our family home was firebombed on January 22, 2026. They were documented weeks and months beforehand.

Look at the dates.

December 13, 2025

FOR THE RECORD: I AM NOT “ACE VENTURA” AND I DO NOT AUTHOR GANGSTERISMOUT

December 14, 2025

YET AGAIN FOR THE RECORD: I AM NOT “ACE VENTURA” AND I DO NOT AUTHOR GANGSTERISMOUT

These two Black Sheep articles were published approximately three weeks before Jolene Johnson’s investigation report was circulated on January 6, 2026.

And my denials went back even further. In May 2025, I had already communicated to the Castlegar RCMP that I was not the individual operating the website.

June 2, 2026

This podcast revisits the identity dispute, my earlier public denials, and the communications with police.

August 21, 2026

WHO THE HELL IS “ACE VENTURA”? Two B.C. Supreme Court Decisions Point to Daryl Grant MacAskill

This later investigation examines the conflicting identity claims and the court records concerning Daryl Grant MacAskill.

And Then Came January 7, 2026

The day after Johnson’s report was mass-distributed, the account identifying itself as Daryl MacAskill — the very individual associated with the Ace Ventura identity — wrote:

“I am Daryl MacAskill and I have always been the sole author of the ‘Gangsterism Out’ blog.”

And, even more explicitly:

“Drover NEVER had anything to do with my blog.”

The correspondence included this link:

That statement does not independently authenticate the sender’s identity, but it demonstrates that Johnson’s conclusion was directly disputed.

So here is my question: How could a private investigation report circulated on January 6, 2026, identify me as Ace Ventura with such certainty when I had already publicly denied that identification, and the account claiming to be the actual author expressly contradicted it the following day?

On January 7, I warned RCMP investigators in writing that the circulation of these allegations could expose my family to retaliation or violence.

Fifteen days later, our home was firebombed.

That sequence deserves serious scrutiny. It does not, by itself, prove that the report caused the attack or identify those responsible.

But one thing is beyond dispute: my denials were on the record before the firebombing, not invented afterward.

Note: The direct URLs for the December 13 and 14 articles remain to be verified before publication.

The email nevertheless declared:

“Thru extensive investigation efforts it has been determined conclusively that Mr. David DROVER of {redacted}, Castlegar, BC is the owner and operator of the website in question.”

Conclusive? Based on what?

The email also alleged that I had been using Daryl Grant MacAskill as a scapegoat for the website’s content.

It then encouraged recipients to pursue action against me:

“It is hoped that a number of the parties identified at least make police reports, and preferably engage legal counsel to pursue civil action against this maniac.”

And where were recipients told to obtain additional evidence?

“For additional information and to obtain the entire evidence package, please direct any and all inquiries to:

Admin@westpointinvestigations.ca”

That is the administration address of West Point Investigations.

The report’s authorship is identified. The email explicitly directs recipients to West Point. However, the identity of whoever operated the ProtonMail account and sent the distributions has not been independently authenticated.

The Sandhers Were Among the Recipients

This is where the distribution becomes particularly concerning to me.

The January 6 email records show that allegations identifying me as Ace Ventura were circulated to addresses associated with members of the Sandher family.

The 9:34:01 a.m. PST distribution included addresses identifying Gurjinder Sandher and other Sandher contacts, alongside several legal and business recipients.

Why does that matter?

Because the Sandher family has been the subject of extensive coverage on Gangsterism Out, and litigation involving members of that family and Daryl MacAskill is expressly discussed in Johnson’s report.

I have previously raised concerns about alleged threats directed at Ace Ventura. Those threats, including their authorship and circumstances, need to be independently verified.

I am not suggesting that receiving an email establishes criminal involvement by the Sandhers or anyone else.

But the underlying risk is obvious.

If people who had serious disputes with Ace Ventura were told that I was actually Ace Ventura, what potential consequences could that misidentification have for me and my family?

That was precisely the concern I subsequently raised with the RCMP.

And sixteen days later, our home was attacked.

Three January 6 Distributions — One Accusation

The correspondence identifies three principal distribution times, with an additional forwarded copy later that day.

January 6, 2026Documented distribution
9:31 a.m.Five direct recipients, including business contacts
9:34:01 a.m. PSTNine direct recipients, including Sandher-associated addresses and legal contacts
11:39 a.m.Ten direct recipients, including Michael Martinz and Svetlana Dalla Lana
5:43:39 p.m. PSTAdditional forwarded copy bearing the same allegations

My email address and two addresses associated with Ace Ventura appeared as copied recipients on the distributions.

Across the three principal groups, the records identify 24 direct-recipient addresses, although this is not proof of 24 separate individuals reading the message.

Some recipients were involved in disputes or had been discussed on Gangsterism Out. Others were legal professionals, business contacts, or individuals whose reasons for inclusion are not established.

I was not a participant in the separate exchanges between Jolene Johnson and the Ace Ventura account. Although my address appeared on the distribution, I learned additional details of the ensuing correspondence from the Ace Ventura account, which forwarded material to me.

The important fact is that this was not a private report quietly sitting in an investigator’s file.

The available records show that it was actively circulated to multiple groups of people.

What Did Jolene Johnson’s Report Actually Say?

The twelve-page report, signed by Johnson which NONE of it was TRUE, was titled:

Investigation Report — Gangsterismout.com / Daryl Grant Macaskill / David Drover / Jessica Simpson

On page 1, it stated that West Point had been retained by an unnamed client who claimed to have been defamed on the website.

It also claimed that Daryl MacAskill was not the person responsible for the website.

On page 2, the report presented its supposed evidence that I and Jessica Simpson were behind the website.

One of the principal arguments involved a screenshot I had sent Johnson in December 2025.

The report claimed that the words “MOVE TO” visible in the screenshot proved that I had access to the website’s administrative panel.

It stated:

“This further confirms that DROVER was logged into the ADMIN PANEL of the website gangsterismout.com.”

But a screenshot alone does not establish who controls a website.

Where were the authenticated server records?

Where were the administrator login records?

Where was the technical evidence connecting my identity to the site’s actual operation?

I have not seen those materials in the twelve-page report.

The report also relied upon its interpretations of telephone conversations, text messages, and similarities between subjects discussed on different websites.

Those assertions require independent examination. They are not equivalent to authenticated proof of website ownership.

Yet the accompanying January 6 email presented the conclusion as definitive.

Why was my financial information included? Also Nothing true there … I had Bitcoin it said and that is funny not funny!!

The report also discussed my investments, trading accounts, and the ownership of our matrimonial home.

What did any of that have to do with identifying a website administrator?

The report discussed potential recovery of money through civil litigation.

It also claimed that Johnson possessed more than 27 hours of recorded conversations with me, which might interest people discussed on the website.

That raises additional questions.

Were those recordings offered or provided to recipients?

What did the unnamed client authorize?

Why were my financial circumstances included in a report circulated to people who might pursue legal proceedings against me?

And what professional safeguards governed the use and distribution of that information?

These are questions the report itself makes relevant.

January 7: The Account Claiming to Be Ace Ventura Contradicts the Report

The very next day, the account using the name Ace Ventura responded.

The sender identified himself as Daryl MacAskill.

He wrote:

“I am Daryl MacAskill and I have always been the sole author of the ‘Gangsterism Out’ blog.”

Then came the sentence I consider central to this entire story:

“Drover NEVER had anything to do with my blog.”

There it was.

A direct written denial from the account claiming to represent the actual author.

That email was circulated in the ensuing correspondence involving Johnson and West Point.

Johnson did not accept the identity claim.

She responded:

“HI Daryl, (NOT)”

And asked the sender to meet with an investigator to verify his identity.

On January 8, Johnson again challenged him:

“Proof is in the pudding! Failure to actually meet in person with an investigator clearly shows that you are NOT who you say you are.”

An investigator may reasonably seek independent verification of someone’s identity.

But the obvious question remains:

Why was the January 6 report’s alternative conclusion presented as conclusive when the actual authorship question was still being contested?

And after receiving that contradiction, did Johnson notify the recipients of her report that its conclusion was disputed?

The records reviewed for this article do not establish that such a correction was circulated.

January 7: I Warned the RCMP About Retaliation and Violence

This is perhaps the most important part of the chronology.

On January 7, 2026, I sent the disputed report and related correspondence to RCMP investigators.

At 7:39 p.m., I sent a detailed warning to:

Cpl. Amanda Martell

Nathan Wilson

Sgt. Jeff Milliard

These officers were associated with the Langley Serious Crimes investigation into an earlier alleged murder plot reported through Jolene Johnson.

My January 7 email specifically addressed the risks arising from the mass distribution.

Under the heading:

“Risk Escalation & Duty-to-Warn Concerns”

I warned that:

“These false allegations materially increase the risk of retaliation or violence”

I requested that police review the mass-distributed allegations, preserve the electronic evidence, document the authorship denial, and advise me on steps to protect my family.

This was not something I claimed after the firebombing.

I warned the RCMP in writing fifteen days before the attack.

The email records demonstrate that I raised the concern. They do not establish which officers read it, what assessment followed, or whether the distribution had any causal relationship to the attack.

Those are matters that require investigation.

January 22: Our Home Is Firebombed

Sixteen days after the January 6 distribution, two masked individuals attacked our family home in Castlegar.

Multiple incendiary devices were thrown toward the residence.

My daughter and I were inside.

We survived.

But I cannot look at the sequence without asking serious questions.

On January 6, a report identifying me as Ace Ventura was circulated to people, including Sandher-associated recipients, who had connections to disputes involving the website.

On January 7, the account claiming to be the actual author expressly denied my involvement.

On January 7, I warned RCMP investigators that the disputed identification could provoke retaliation or violence.

On January 8, Johnson was still questioning the identity of the sender who had contradicted her report.

And on January 22, our home was firebombed.

Then came the reported exchange involving Sara McDonald.

Back to Sara: “Funny How Sara Blames My Report on This Happening”

This is why I opened this article with Sara’s reported messages.

The exchange attributed to Sara suggests she was concerned about a possible connection between Johnson’s report and what happened at our home.

And Jolene’s reported statement to Michael Martinz is remarkable:

“Funny how Sara blames my report on this happening.”

That sentence deserves careful scrutiny.

It suggests that Johnson understood Sara to be attributing some responsibility to the report.

It does not establish that Sara possessed inside knowledge of the attack or that Johnson participated in planning it.

But it raises questions that should be answered.

What specifically did Sara mean?

Was she referring to the January 6 West Point report?

Did she know to whom it had been distributed?

Had she raised concerns about the report before January 22?

What did Johnson tell Michael Martinz about Sara’s concern?

And did either woman provide the complete exchange to investigators?

These questions matter because the report, the mass distribution, the authorship denial, and my police warning are all documented events preceding the attack.

The complete original text-message records, including timestamps, should be preserved and examined to establish the precise context of Sara’s remarks.

The Central Question

I am not claiming that these documents prove who firebombed our home.

They do establish a troubling chronology.

A private investigation report signed by Jolene Johnson identified me as the person behind a website that had generated serious disputes.

That report was associated with a mass email campaign directed to numerous recipients, including individuals connected to litigation concerning the website.

The following day, an account claiming to be the actual author expressly denied my involvement.

I warned police about the potential for retaliation and violence.

Fifteen days after that warning, our home was attacked.

And in the aftermath, Sara McDonald reportedly questioned whether Johnson’s report had contributed to what happened.

The question is not whether a text message proves a conspiracy. It doesn’t.

The question is whether investigators have fully examined the circulation of the report, the recipients, the warnings, and the communications that followed.

Because my family deserves to know what happened.

And whoever carried out the firebombing must be identified through evidence, not speculation.

The Documents Behind This Investigation

This article is based primarily on the following materials:

  1. The twelve-page West Point Investigations report signed by Jolene Johnson.
  2. January 6, 2026 ProtonMail distribution emails, including the 9:31 a.m., 9:34:01 a.m., and 11:39 a.m. copies.
  3. January 7–8 correspondence involving the Ace Ventura account and Jolene Johnson.
  4. My January 7, 2026, 7:39 p.m. warning to RCMP investigators.
  5. My January 7 cease-and-desist correspondence.
  6. Reported excerpts from the Sara McDonald–Jolene Johnson exchange, referenced in Jolene’s communications with Michael Martinz, pending full verification against the original screenshots.

The relevant documents distinguish statements made by their authors from facts independently established. Neither receipt of an email nor appearance in an investigative report establishes involvement in the January 22 attack.
