🚨BLACK SHEEP WHISTLEBOWER IS BACK🔥🐑

In December 2024, I sat down with Peyman Askari on his In Lay Terms podcast for a wide-ranging conversation about whistleblowing, politics, the RCMP and the personal cost of confronting powerful institutions.

The official title of the interview is:

“David Drover | EP 116 | Uncovering Corruption: From RCMP Investigations to the Newfoundland PPC”

Interesting to note I had nothing to do with making that title and our discussion had very little to do with my involvement with the RCMP a decade prior but the former Staff Sgt for Castlgar Brett Turner clearly did have a problem with the title and wanted Peyman about the title claiming I had nothing to do with the RCMP which of course Turner knew nothing about since it was before his time at the Castlegar detachment but more on Turner later in a subsequent post as he should be eating prison food actually for the corruption and wrath he brought on my family that started on Easter Saturday 2016 when he and his detachment descended on our home in Castlegar like a tactically unit coming for Bin Laden threatening to arrest me for criminal harassment and a $10 million dollar criminal extortion none of which was true .. without getting into the story the person who made those complaints ended up hanged on their home a year and a half later .. whoopsie! It was deemed a suicide wink wink!!

Getting back to the interview with Peyman. The discussion explores my background as a geologist and my previous involvement in confidential investigative work connected to the RCMP only because Turner made those comments in the days leading up to the interview so we discussed it. I spoke about what I witnessed, how my perspective on the RCMP changed over time and why I eventually became a vocal critic of institutional misconduct and failures of accountability.

The main discussion was my brief involvement (a month as a candidates before I was fired no reason given) with the People’s Party of Canada during the 2019 federal election, including my planned candidacy in Newfoundland to take on Trudeau’s BFF Seamus O’Oregan (perhaps the dumbest federal politician ever) in the riding of St John’s West- Mt Pearl (where I grew up), the sudden end of that campaign and the political circumstances surrounding it. The conversation examines Warren Kinsella’s role in the campaign against the PPC and what I believe the episode revealed about Canada’s political establishment.

This interview is ultimately about more than one political party or police organization. It is about what happens when someone challenges a protected narrative, refuses to remain silent and discovers how quickly institutions can close ranks.

I do not expect everyone to accept every conclusion I have reached. I do expect people to listen, examine the evidence and ask their own questions.

That is what being a Black Sheep means: refusing to follow the herd when the herd is being led away from the truth.
