Before You Begin to Read This Blog
At 1 a.m., I woke up, checked my phone, and saw a new post from the Alberta Prosperity Project (APP). It stopped me cold.
The post announced that Dr. Dennis Modry and the APP delegation had just completed their second trip to Washington, D.C. There, they claim to have met with senior Trump administration officials and secured “renewed U.S. backing” for Alberta’s sovereignty.
APP framed this as a historic breakthrough:
- “Full support” from American allies for Alberta’s independence.
- U.S. officials allegedly pledging partnership in energy security, trade frameworks, and economic integration.
- Commitments APP says will accelerate Alberta’s path to a sovereignty referendum in 2026.
On the surface, it reads like a victory lap for Alberta separatism.
But when you know the backstory — the parts APP doesn’t talk about — this “win” looks very different.
That’s what pushed me to write this blog. I had actually been sitting on these connections for months, but when I saw this APP announcement, I knew I couldn’t hold back anymore.
A Note on the Title
I originally thought of calling this blog:
- Dark Lines: Questions Surrounding Dr. Dennis Modry’s Health and Political Activism
- Then: Dark Lines: Questions at the Crossroads of Modry, Dalla Lana, Nagasse, Makis, and Alberta Separatism
But I finally settled on this:
Dark Lines: From Transplants to Separatism — Dr. Modry, Svetlana, and Alberta’s Freedom Network
Because this isn’t just about Modry. It’s about the entire network of disgraced doctors, nurses, and political actors around him — and how their personal scandals, profiteering, and U.S. connections are being woven into the fabric of Alberta’s separatist movement.
What This Blog Will Connect
In the pages that follow, I’ll connect the dots between:
- The Christina Lake receipt allegedly linking Dr. Modry to Svetlana’s private cabin “retreat.”
- Svetlana Dalla Lana’s violent past (the 2016 stabbing), her reinvention as a “freedom nurse,” her Ezra Healing ivermectin empire, and even her OnlyFans persona “FreedomRose.”
- Dr. Daniel Nagasse, the disgraced physician tied to false stillbirth claims, ivermectin prescribing, and alleged infiltration alongside Svetlana.
- Dr. William Makis, the notorious COVID conspiracy doctor in Alberta, and his alleged ivermectin supply chain through Ezra Healing.
- Sheila Lewis, her National Citizens Inquiry testimony, her fight over “vaccine mandates” for transplant eligibility, and her suspicious death.
- The “missing Danielle Smith emails” that weren’t missing at all — because I sent them, have them in my outbox, and even re-sent them to the Ethics Commission.
- Coutts corruption, including federal Crown prosecutor Stephen Johnston — once tied to a $100M mining fraud — now resurfacing in the most political prosecutions in Alberta’s history.
- The MAGA connection: Svetlana photographed with Flynn, Bongino, McCullough, Pawlowski, Theo Fleury, Jamie Salé, Joseph Bourgault, and others, raising the question of whether she was acting as a honeypot or even as part of an intelligence agenda not rooted in Canada.
Put all of this together, and the picture that emerges is not of grassroots Albertans demanding freedom. It’s a web of compromised actors, professional outcasts, and cross-border political operatives shaping Alberta separatism from the shadows.

👉 Your 🧠 MIND is about to be 🤯 BLOWN 🤯
as you dive into this story.
“If you think this is just about Alberta sovereignty, you’re missing the real story. This is about who’s really behind it — disgraced doctors, nurses, and political opportunists weaving a web of influence that stretches from Christina Lake, BC to Washington, from Lethbridge to MAGA rallies in Florida. And the silence protecting them is deafening.”
Introduction
For decades, Dr. Dennis L. Modry was regarded as one of Alberta’s great medical pioneers — the surgeon who performed the province’s first heart and lung transplants and built a legacy of innovation in critical care. To many, he was a figure of hope and healing.
Yet today, Modry’s name no longer appears in medical journals or transplant registries. Instead, it surfaces in headlines about Alberta separatism, vaccine skepticism, and political lobbying in Washington, D.C. through his leadership role in the Alberta Prosperity Project (APP). His transformation from surgeon to separatist has been as abrupt as it is controversial.
This investigation follows that transformation, examining his connections to two other polarizing figures: Svetlana Dalla Lana, the “freedom nurse” turned ivermectin entrepreneur behind Ezra Healing, and Dr. Daniel Nagasse, a COVID-era activist doctor facing disciplinary hearings for spreading misinformation. Together, their stories converge in rallies, private gatherings, and alleged infiltration tactics that blur the line between politics, personal relationships, and covert influence.
The central questions are stark:
- How does a transplant surgeon become a front-line voice for Alberta sovereignty?
- How did a nurse from Grand Forks, BC — with no political background — rise within months to shake hands with Premier Danielle Smith and pose with MAGA celebrities in the U.S.?
- What role did Dr. Nagasse play in reinforcing this network, from anti-mandate rallies to the Mel Bruchet episode in BC?
- And what do these overlapping connections mean for Albertans, especially when set against unresolved matters like the death of Sheila Lewis and the Coutts prosecutions?
This post separates public record from allegation, presenting the documented facts alongside the unanswered questions. Dr. Modry is no longer just a surgeon of transplants — he has become a political actor woven into a web of controversies, alliances, and suspicions that demand closer scrutiny.
Visual Evidence: Svetlana’s Rapid Rise
To ground these questions in reality, we don’t have to look far. The images speak for themselves.
- May 2022: Svetlana Dalla Lana is photographed standing with Dr. Dennis Modry — months before Danielle Smith became Premier, while Modry was still advising her inner circle.

- In the same period, she is also with Dr. Daniel Nagasse (and Modry), her close ally on the anti-mandate rally circuit and later her partner in the Dr. Mel Bruchet campaign in British Columbia.
These photos and “meetings”, taken less than a year after she emerged from near-total obscurity in Grand Forks, BC, illustrate just how quickly Svetlana positioned herself at the center of Alberta’s separatist and COVID-activist circles. Like WITAF right how does this happen unless you have been “chosen” wink wink?!?
The Surgeon Turned Political Actor
- Born in Camrose, Alberta, Modry trained at the University of Alberta, McGill, and Stanford University, becoming one of Canada’s leading transplant surgeons.
- He directed the University of Alberta’s Heart & Lung Transplant Program, performing Alberta’s first heart transplant (1985), the first combined heart-and-lung (1986), and the first double lung transplant (1990).
- He retired from active surgical practice around 2016.
- In 2022, Modry co-founded and became CEO of the Alberta Prosperity Project (APP), advocating for Alberta sovereignty and independence.
- He resigned from the CEO role in February 2023, but remains publicly tied to APP and its network.
- Modry has also written for APP on vaccine safety, questioning the safety of mRNA COVID vaccines.
- The College of Physicians & Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA) has clarified that Modry is not licensed to practice medicine in Alberta and is a formerly registered physician.

Political Ambitions & Ideology
- APP has pushed for a citizen-initiated referendum on Alberta sovereignty, claiming to have collected hundreds of thousands of signatures.
- Modry’s name has been linked to UCP politics, including an announced run for the Edmonton-Riverview nomination.
- APP rhetoric often echoes U.S. right-wing talking points on federal overreach, energy dominance, and “globalist” threats.
- In October 2025, APP announced a Washington D.C. delegation claiming renewed U.S. backing for Alberta independence — with Modry himself quoted as saying Alberta joining the U.S. was a “non-starter.”
Alleged Receipt & Christina Lake Cottage Questions
Links to Svetlana Dalla Lana (née Rilkoff) & Ezra Healing
In March 2022, a photo appeared on Svetlana Dalla Lana’s Facebook page showing her alongside Dr. Dennis Modry.
According to her ex-fiancé, around that same time he discovered a receipt from a local cannabis dispensary bearing Dr. Modry’s name. He claims this receipt was found at Svetlana’s remote, boat-access-only cottage on Christina Lake, BC — a million-dollar-plus property known among locals for its exclusivity and isolation.
If accurate, this discovery raises serious and obvious questions:
- Why was Dr. Modry’s name on a cannabis receipt located inside Svetlana’s private lake cottage?
- What was Modry’s relationship, if any, with Svetlana’s property and the activities connected to it?
- Was there overlap between this secluded setting and Svetlana’s later ventures into OnlyFans (under the alias “FreedomRose”) and her Ezra Healing ivermectin operation?
To be clear:
- These are third-party claims, not independently verified.
- There is no official record tying Dr. Modry to criminal activity at Christina Lake.
- However, the timeline is troubling:
- March 2022: Modry appears in Svetlana’s Facebook photos.
- Spring 2022: Receipt with Modry’s name allegedly found in the cabin.
- Months later: Svetlana launches her OnlyFans pornographic content site and rebrands herself as a “Freedom Nurse,” selling ivermectin through Ezra Healing and speaking at COVID-skeptic rallies.
It is the clustering of these events — not one isolated piece of hearsay — that raises the red flags.
My direct question to Dr. Modry is simple:
What were you doing at Christina Lake? Why was your name on that dispensary receipt? And how do you respond to allegations linking you to Svetlana’s operations — from OnlyFans to ivermectin trafficking?
Until Dr. Modry answers, Albertans are left to connect the dots on their own.
Here’s what we do know: Modry is married as there are many photos of him as his wife publicly available on line as below. There has been no indication his wife was with him at Svetlana’s remote Christina Lake cabin. Maybe she was — I can’t say for certain. But what we do know is that a cannabis receipt bearing Modry’s name was allegedly found there, at what Svetlana’s ex-fiancé described to me as her “love affair nest.”
Her ex told me this first-hand: he had been in a relationship with Svetlana at the time, and although he had no knowledge of Modry personally, he discovered the receipt days after being at the cabin with her. That discovery left me shocked when he recounted it — because if true, it places Modry in a very compromising position.
Now, does this mean Modry was there romantically? I can only speculate. But let’s be honest: it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to wonder what was really happening at that secluded “retreat.” Unless, of course, we’re to believe he was simply stocking up on gummy bears. 😉

The Darker Backstory of Svetlana Dalla Lana (née Rilkoff)
The story of Svetlana Dalla Lana, also known as Svetlana Rilkoff, doesn’t begin with ivermectin sales or political photo-ops with Dr. Modry.
It begins in Castlegar and Grand Forks, BC, where a shocking episode shows how deep her connections — and protection — may run.
According to reporting by Gangsterism Out (source), in late 2016 Svetlana stabbed her then-husband Nathan Dalla Lana in the neck after discovering an affair. He survived, but barely.
The story was leaked by James McFaddin, brother of Castlegar Mayor Maria McFaddin and brother-in-law to Svetlana. All were — and remain — connected to the powerful Evangelical New Life Church, which also included ties to local RCMP officers.
Despite nearly killing her husband, Svetlana was arrested but released without charges. Allegedly, her church connections — and protection from RCMP Staff Sergeant Monty Taylor — ensured the case never went forward.
Nathan Dalla Lana, under pressure from scandal, church politics, and the need to protect his children from losing their mother, cooperated in keeping the matter buried. The marriage dissolved, and Svetlana reverted to her maiden name Rilkoff.
Well there is this photo of Svetlana’s FreedomRose only fans days in 2023

The Photo That Started It All
Back in May 2025, a photo of Svetlana Dalla Lana holding a shotgun while dressed in skimpy clothing appeared online. It wasn’t Svetlana herself who posted it — it was Danny Keith Martin, a known serial harasser of women, with multiple protection orders against him.
Martin, who goes by “Hungry Trucker” on X and Facebook, has been working with and for Svetlana. According to my experience, he was effectively commissioned by her to target me and my family, namely my wife and her workplace. For five months now, since May 2025, this campaign of harassment has been relentless. From more on this story see this several part blog posts on Danny Keith Martin HERE.
This shotgun photo was one of the very first threatening images Martin posted on social media. We reported it to the RCMP, only to be told it was “freedom of speech” and that it was “impossible” to connect the Hungry Trucker alias to the real Danny Keith Martin of Calgary. That was absurd — and contradicted by later documents, including an RCMP threat assessment that actually classified him as a “HIGH threat.” See my threat assessment of Danny Keith Martin of Calgary AB… using AI HERE.
And here’s where it gets even more disturbing:
- The manipulated image Martin posted shows a caricature of Svetlana Dalla Lana standing behind me and Erin Graham in Alberta, shotgun in hand, as if pointing it at our backs.
- As if that wasn’t shocking enough, Svetlana herself “liked” the post, adding prayer-hand emojis and hearts under it — effectively endorsing the threat.
- Martin even captioned the image with “?for Svetlan” in the header, making it crystal clear who he was posting for.
👉 WTF, right? You literally cannot make this stuff up.
See the image for yourself below.

Oh, and There Was Another One
As if the shotgun photo wasn’t enough, Martin posted another image — one that the RCMP also waved off as “A-OK.”
This one depicted me and Erin covered in the blood of her sheep.
To make it worse, the image was shared alongside commentary from CanadaStoxx, a crime blogger who has been covering Danny Keith Martin and Svetlana on his site Gangsterism Out. Instead of condemning Martin’s harassment, he labelled us “cyber bullying con artists” and added the line “wolves always work in packs.”
👉 Seriously, WITAF?
Let’s not forget: Danny Keith Martin has been harassing women criminally for more than a decade — in Alberta, BC, and even the UK. Yet here he is, posting blood-soaked caricatures of us online, and somehow the RCMP still shrugs it off as if it’s nothing.
Self-explanatory. Disgusting. Threatening. And yet, according to the RCMP, nothing to worry about.
👉 Again — WITAF?!

BUT I DIGRESS – ON WITH THE READ OF THE STORY!
Sidebar: Svetlana Rilkoff – “Cancer Quacker” & Self-Styled Whistleblower
To understand who Svetlana really is, it’s worth hearing her own words.
On one of her sites, she introduced herself this way:
“Hi there – my name is Svetlana. I am a 44 year old Canadian former Registered Nurse x 25 years. I am a proud whitleblower (sic) of the Covid Scam. I was terminated from my place of employment for refusing the vaccine in 2021, went through a divorce to a family doctor, lost custody of my 2 small children for refusing to vaccinate them … eliminating all vaccines from the planet is a top goal of mine.” (Gangsterism Out)
From there, the pattern is clear:
- Lost her nursing license after refusing vaccination.
- Lost her marriage to Dr. Nathan Dalla Lana (whose sister is Castlegar Mayor Maria McFaddin).
- Lost custody of her children for refusing to vaccinate them.
And then came the pivot:
- According to multiple reports and source claims, cheap veterinary or bulk drugs purchased from suppliers in India (routed through the U.S., reportedly Spokane) — costing as little as $0.19 per pill (roughly $15 per bottle at source) — were being re-packaged and sold through Ezra Healing and allied networks back to the US and UK and Canada for $137–$147 per bottle as so-called “alternative” cancer treatments. These distribution methods (mailing across the border or concealing shipments in vehicles) would be illegal if proven; at this stage they remain allegations and should be investigated by authorities.
- Claiming that “cancer is a parasitic infection” that can be healed with diet changes and dewormer drugs.
- Positioning herself as a healer offering a “better way.”
She openly declared:
“We help people heal from cancer. People are now looking for an alternative treatment approach. No longer is chemotherapy, radiation, biopsies and surgeries acceptable.”
This is the Ezra Healing model: dress up cheap veterinary drugs in pseudoscience and sell them at obscene markups to desperate patients.
From Violence to Ivermectin Profits
By the 2020s, Svetlana had reinvented herself yet again — this time as a “freedom nurse” running a lucrative alternative-medicine racket.
- Selling veterinary drugs (including ivermectin) marketed falsely as cures for cancer and COVID.
- Leveraging her church connections to recruit customers.
- Working with fringe characters, including Danny Keith Martin, who became one of her helpers.
The COVID pandemic turned her side hustle into a gold rush. What began as modest sales ballooned into a six-figure monthly operation:
- Reports allege she went from $10,000 per month in sales to over $200,000 per month when Dr. William (Viliam) Makis entered the picture as a buyer.
- Michael Lindstrom, an evangelical ally, plastered Kelowna with ivermectin posters and now allegedly runs her pill press in the West Kelowna Industrial Park.
- A supply chain importing bulk drugs from China at pennies per pill — flipped through Ezra Healing at staggering markups.
Breakdown of the economics:
- Ivermectin raw cost: $150 USD per kilo in China.
- Other drugs: as low as $50 USD per kilo.
- Final product: $137 bottles, with shipping, costing her less than $0.20 per pill.
Added Bonus to the The Dr. Makis Connection
This part of the story is personal. My own relationship with Svetlana goes back years — since 2017 — and it’s a story in itself.
During that time, Svetlana told me something extraordinary. She said that when the Alberta Government, via AHS, began going after Dr. William (Viliam) Makis for money from the proceeds of ivermectin sales, she offered to protect his money. According to her, Dr. Makis thanked her for the offer.
Svetlana actually sent me text messages between herself and Dr. Makis discussing this arrangement — messages I still have and can produce upon request. In those messages, she implied she was illegally shielding or rerouting his money from the Alberta government’s garnishment efforts, and even asked Dr. Makis whether he wanted her to continue handling his U.S. clients to help hide those sales from Alberta authorities.
If true, this is explosive. It would mean Ezra Healing was not just selling ivermectin at massive markups but also allegedly facilitating the concealment of Dr. Makis’ proceeds from government action.
And yes — I have the text messages. Svetlana sent them to me herself. You literally cannot make this stuff up.
Why This Matters to Modry
This violent and criminal backstory is not ancient history. It frames who Svetlana was before she appeared in photos with Dr. Modry at Christina Lake in March 2022, before she shook hands with Premier Danielle Smith, and before she stood beside Dr. Nagasse at Lethbridge rallies.
The question Albertans must ask is simple:
Why would a man of Dr. Modry’s stature — a retired transplant surgeon and leader of the Alberta Prosperity Project — allow himself to be associated with someone with this kind of history?
Is this naivety, poor judgment, or something deeper?
MAGA Links, Honey Pot Allegations & the Modry Question
The Christina Lake allegations become even more troubling when considered alongside Svetlana Dalla Lana’s documented ties to the MAGA movement in the United States.
Multiple witnesses and online evidence place Svetlana at Trump rallies in Florida during 2021–2022. In photos circulating on social media, she is seen wearing a MAGA hat and posing with high-profile right-wing personalities:
- Dan Bongino, a former Secret Service agent turned Fox News pundit and staunch Trump ally.
- General Michael Flynn, Trump’s first National Security Advisor who later became a key figure in U.S. far-right political movements.
The Flynn Photo
General Michael Flynn — as I said above Flynn was Trump’s first National Security Advisor, later a central figure in U.S. far-right political movements.
And here it is: the photo of Svetlana Dalla Lana with General Flynn.
Show this to anyone who knows who Flynn is and the reaction is almost always the same: “Holy F**!!”*
And it gets better (or worse): Svetlana isn’t just standing with Flynn. She’s proudly wearing the ULTRA MAGA hat — like, seriously… WITAF?!

There are also these beauties that are slef explantory and you should reconize all of them pasve for one peraps

The Photo Trail: From MAGA to Alberta Separatism
The sheer volume of photos Svetlana Dalla Lana posted across Facebook, Instagram, and X cannot be brushed off as coincidence. These weren’t casual snapshots to show friends that she “met someone famous.” They read like a deliberate pattern — a carefully curated photo trail connecting her to both American MAGA elites and the central figures of Canada’s so-called “freedom movement.”
We’ve all seen them:
- Svetlana with General Michael Flynn, Trump’s first National Security Advisor turned far-right icon.
- Svetlana with Peter McCullough, one of the most notorious COVID conspiracy doctors in the U.S.
- Svetlana with Dan Bongino, Fox News pundit and Trump insider (yes, I still have that photo and will post it).
And then here in Canada:
- Svetlana photographed with Dr. Dennis Modry, Dr. Daniel Nagasse, Dr. William Makis, and even Premier Danielle Smith.
Side by side, these photos don’t show Svetlana as some fringe activist hovering on the margins. They place her embedded directly inside the MAGA orbit while simultaneously rubbing shoulders with the leading faces of Alberta separatism and the Canadian “freedom” movement — which, especially in Alberta, has been little more than an anti-Trudeau separatist campaign dressed up as grassroots politics.
This isn’t ancient history. In October 2025, Dr. Dennis Modry, still publicly tied to the Alberta Prosperity Project (APP), was quoted in an APP press release boasting about renewed U.S. backing for Alberta independence after meetings in Washington, D.C. with senior Trump officials.
This overlap isn’t abstract. It’s not speculation. It’s documented in photos and official APP press releases.
Which raises a far bigger question: was this all organic — or was it by design? When you look at the consistency of the images, the staging, and the timing, it starts to look less like coincidence and more like someone was building a narrative, perhaps even fulfilling an agenda on behalf of interests far beyond Canada’s borders.
And then there’s the Coutts angle. In 2024, allegations surfaced that Svetlana had served as a female UCO (“honeypot”) at Coutts, using her persona as a “freedom nurse” to get close to targets. She has never publicly denied these claims. Instead, she has harassed, threatened, or attempted to intimidate those who raised them.
If she indeed played such a role at Coutts, is it really far-fetched to suggest she could have infiltrated the Alberta sovereignty movement, drawing close to Modry and others?
Add to that another odd commonality:
- Both Modry and Dalla Lana have faced professional investigations in their medical fields.
- Modry is no longer a licensed physician in Alberta.
- Dalla Lana was disciplined and effectively removed from nursing practice in BC after refusing vaccination and launching her Ezra Healing ivermectin business.
When you connect the dots — the Christina Lake receipt, the MAGA rally appearances, the APP’s Washington lobbying, and the honeypot allegations at Coutts — one must ask:
💥 Are we staring at a missing link between Alberta separatism and U.S. political extremism, bridged through Dr. Modry’s association with Svetlana Dalla Lana?
It may sound speculative — but these are dots that demand to be connected. And until Dr. Modry or Ms. Dalla Lana publicly clarify, Albertans are left only with questions.
Last but Not Least: The Danielle Smith Photo
And finally — I would be remiss not to include the photo of Svetlana with Premier Danielle Smith, taken on November 5, 2022 (Guy Fawkes Night, of all days — the one where you light bonfires and burn things down).
This was just days after Smith became Premier. The timing and symbolism couldn’t be more ironic… or more telling.

Sheila Lewis: A Death That Still Raises Questions
I was a friend of Sheila Lewis in the months before her death in August 2023. She reached out to me seeking information about corruption in Alberta, particularly the legal conflicts and prosecutions around the Coutts case.
Later, in 2024, Sheila’s son, Darcy, joined one of our whistleblower forums (Spaces), where we openly discussed the possibility that Sheila’s passing was not natural. Given Dr. Modry’s professional stature in transplant and critical care—and his outspoken role in medical and policy debates—the proximity of his name to Sheila’s fate presents a troubling conundrum.

What is publicly known about Sheila Lewis
- National Citizens Inquiry testimony (May 2023): Sheila gave a recorded testimony to the NCI, explaining her medical circumstances and how she claimed her position on the organ transplant waitlist was downgraded after she declined the COVID vaccine. Apple Podcasts
- According to her testimony, she had been diagnosed with a terminal illness and was awaiting a double-organ transplant. She asserted she fulfilled all medical criteria — including required childhood immunizations — until she refused the COVID vaccination, after which she claimed her priority status on the list was lowered. Apple Podcasts
- Sheila’s legal fight made national headlines: she challenged Alberta Health Services, a hospital, and six doctors over their policy requiring COVID vaccination for transplant eligibility. The case was subject to a publication ban on identifying the organ, hospital, or doctors. Bridge City News+2Alberta Doctors’ Digest+2
- In June 2023, the Supreme Court declined to hear her appeal, ending her legal path. The ruling meant she would not regain her place on the transplant list under her terms. Newsweek
- In August 2023, Sheila passed away. Obituaries note that her legal struggle and her vaccine refusal were central to public perception of her death. PR Peak+2nationalobserver.com+2
My connection, unanswered questions & deeper implications
To date, no public inquiry or mainstream source has linked Modry directly to Sheila’s death. But given:
- Sheila’s explicit position on vaccine mandates and transplantation,
- Her proximity to the issues Modry has publicly engaged in,
- Her reaching out to me for help—and then dying under contested medical circumstances—
this remains a major unresolved thread in the narrative connecting Modry, health policy, and political intrigue.
The Coutts Connection & My Own Interactions
In November 2022, just weeks after Danielle Smith was sworn in as Premier, I took the extraordinary step of formally bringing forward evidence of corruption at the Coutts courthouse in Lethbridge.
My correspondence was directed to senior Alberta officials, including:
- Tyler Shandro, then Minister of Justice,
- Brian Jean, then MLA and leadership contender, and
- Travis Toews, then Finance Minister and senior UCP figure.
In that letter — which I have written about in previous files and which can be produced in full — I laid out a disturbing reality:
- A federal Crown prosecutor, once a lawyer I had faced a decade earlier, had resurfaced in Lethbridge prosecuting drug trafficking and Coutts-related cases.
- That same individual, Stephen Johnston, had been centrally involved in a $100 million mining fraud investigation handled by the Alberta Securities Commission (ASC) and the RCMP IMET unit in 2014–2015 — an investigation in which I was personally called as a witness.
- At that time, Johnston’s role was already controversial: he was alleged to have protected or facilitated white-collar criminals while turning the prosecutorial machinery against me.
The implication was — and remains — staggering: a man once tied to an ASC/RCMP mining fraud probe was now sitting in the courtroom as a federal Crown prosecutor in one of Canada’s most politically charged cases, the Coutts prosecutions.
This was not coincidence. It was a revolving door of legal and political power being used to protect insiders while scapegoating outsiders.
You can read more on this HERE: (as I have Dr Modry on my list as Number 4 who knew about the corruption behind Coutts and did NOTHING yet he told me on the phone that he was speak to Premier Smith as he was advising here in May 23 but he clearly did NOT.

…and you can read more about this in what I called “The Stephen Johnston Project” — a three-part series I put together. Check it out; it’ll blow your mind. 🔗 Read HERE

May 2023: Raising it to Modry
By May 2023, in the wake of the Alberta Ethics Commissioner’s report into Premier Danielle Smith’s ethics violations, I decided to take my concerns directly to Dr. Dennis Modry.
I laid out the facts for him: the corruption around the Coutts prosecutions, the prosecutorial conflict of interest, and the disturbing reality that Stephen Johnston — the same lawyer tied to a $100 million mining fraud investigation in 2014–15 — was now acting as a federal Crown in Lethbridge.
Modry assured me he “had Danielle Smith’s ear” and would bring these matters to her attention. For a moment, I believed the information might finally reach someone with the power to act.
But the silence that followed told me everything I needed to know:
- No acknowledgement from Smith or her office.
- No follow-up from Modry.
- No indication that my warnings about Johnston’s dual role — fraud lawyer then Coutts Crown — were ever acted on.
And then there was the matter of the so-called “missing emails.”
The Ethics Commissioner’s report referred to them as missing. But they weren’t missing at all — because I believe I sent them myself. I still have them in my outbox. On the very day the report was released, I re-sent what I believe were those exact emails directly to the Ethics Commission, copying the Premier and others. And still, I received no response.
So let’s be clear: it’s not that no one knew. They did.
This story is covered in Part 2 of the Stephen Johnston Project, which also includes coverage by CBC reporter Meghan Grant on the leaked emails. If you haven’t read it yet, you should — it will blow your mind.
🔗 Premier Danielle Smith’s Ethics Commissioner Report — “Missing Emails”
🔗 Stephen Johnston Project — Part 2

Why This Matters
That silence spoke volumes.
It showed me that even when direct evidence of corruption is placed in the hands of Alberta’s top political and legal actors, the response is not accountability but avoidance.
The Coutts prosecutions were never just about four men in Lethbridge. They exposed a much deeper problem:
- A system willing to recycle compromised lawyers and crown prosecutors, like Stephen Johnston — a man tied to a $100 million mining fraud investigation in 2014–15 — now sitting as a federal Crown prosecutor in one of Canada’s most politically charged trials.
- A government willing to bury inconvenient evidence, like the so-called “missing emails” referenced in the Alberta Ethics Commissioner’s report — emails that were never missing at all, because I sent them myself, still have them in my outbox, and even re-sent them on the very day the report was released, copying the Premier and others.
- Institutions prepared to weaponize the courts to protect political narratives while silencing whistleblowers and shielding insiders.
And then there’s Dr. Dennis Modry. He told me he “had Danielle Smith’s ear” and promised he would carry these matters forward. Yet nothing happened. No response. No accountability. No explanation.
So the question Albertans need to ask is this:
Why did Dr. Modry — a man with the credibility to be heard at the highest levels — choose silence?
Was it naivety? Was it fear? Or was it complicity in a system that protects insiders and sacrifices the truth?
Until we get answers, that silence remains one of the loudest signals of all.
Patterns of Silence and Suppression
A troubling pattern emerges when you step back and connect the dots: many of the loudest voices steering Alberta’s “freedom movement” and separatist politics are not respected insiders — they are disgraced or discredited medical professionals.
- Dr. Dennis Modry: once a transplant pioneer, now a retired surgeon who cannot legally practice medicine according to the CPSA, yet still publicly advising on vaccine safety and policy.
- Svetlana Dalla Lana (née Rilkoff): a nurse who lost her license and even custody of her children after refusing vaccination, later reinvented as a “freedom nurse” pushing ivermectin through Ezra Healing and briefly running an OnlyFans account (“FreedomRose”).
- Dr. Daniel Nagasse: an Alberta/BC physician facing disciplinary hearings, caught spreading misinformation about stillbirths and ivermectin, and aligned with Svetlana in rallies, activism, and the Mel Bruchet debacle.
- Dr. William (Viliam) Makis: a physician whose license had already been stripped long before COVID but who resurfaced as a notorious COVID conspiracy figure in Alberta — and, by Svetlana’s own telling, became a major buyer of her ivermectin supply.
Note: this one’s a beauty — Dr. Makis and Svetlana were interviewed by none other than well-known fraudster Dale Richardson, sometime in 2023 (possibly 2024)… on the Turbo Cancer Epidemic noting that at the time neither was a Doctor or a Nurse as they lost that title years prior in 2018 and 2021 respectively.

According to your own direct knowledge, you introduced or encouraged Svetlana to connect with Dr. Makis in the summer of 2024, while she was selling ivermectin through Ezra Healing.
- At that time, Svetlana was making roughly $15–30K per month in sales.
- After she began supplying Dr. Makis in September 2024, her sales skyrocketed to over $100K per month, eventually climbing to nearly $200K per month with U.S. clients Dr. Makis helped funnel to her.
- Despite her OnlyFans stint (“FreedomRose”), Svetlana continued to use that same handle on X and Facebook to market ivermectin and alternative drugs under Ezra Healing.
So you have a pattern where:
- A stripped-license doctor (Makis) partners with a stripped-license nurse (Svetlana) to monetize ivermectin and anti-vaccine rhetoric.
- Both present themselves as whistleblowers and freedom fighters.
- Both gain credibility through association with Dr. Modry and Alberta separatist networks.
And yet the critical questions remain unasked:
- Why are these disgraced professionals leading Alberta’s separatist and anti-mandate movements?
- Is this merely opportunistic grifting — or is it infiltration and manipulation of a movement by compromised actors?
- Why do political leaders like Danielle Smith and Dr. Modry continue to lend them legitimacy?
Meanwhile, the most important matters are still met with silence:
- The Christina Lake receipt with Modry’s name — unexplained.
- The photo trail of Svetlana with Modry, Nagasse, Makis, Danielle Smith, and MAGA celebrities — ignored by media and government alike.
- The death of Sheila Lewis, still shrouded in suspicion.
- The U.S. backing claims by Modry and APP — trumpeted in press releases, yet unconfirmed by any official U.S. record.
- Your own November 2022 whistleblower evidence about Stephen Johnston — buried after you brought it to Shandro, Jean, Toews, and later Modry himself.
The silence is deafening.
Open Questions
The deeper this investigation goes, the more questions emerge — questions that strike at the very credibility of Alberta’s so-called “freedom” and separatist movement, and the individuals at its helm.
- What is Dr. Modry’s real relationship with Svetlana Dalla Lana and her ventures?
Was he simply duped by a disgraced nurse with a violent past, or was he knowingly involved with her Ezra Healing business? Why was his name allegedly on a Christina Lake cannabis receipt? Why did he appear in photos with her months before Danielle Smith’s rise to Premier? And why has he never explained his association with her — especially after her pivot into OnlyFans and ivermectin profiteering? - Why did Modry not act on the Coutts evidence I provided in 2023?
He assured me he “had Danielle Smith’s ear.” Yet when I gave him direct information about corruption at the Coutts courthouse — including the shocking return of Stephen Johnston, a lawyer tied to the $100 million mining fraud I helped RCMP investigate — he went silent. Did Modry bury this on purpose, or did Smith’s office instruct him to look away? - What role, if any, did Modry play in Sheila Lewis’s end-of-life trajectory?
Sheila’s testimony to the National Citizens Inquiry and her Supreme Court appeal made her one of Canada’s most high-profile medical cases. She reached out to me for evidence of Alberta corruption. Modry, a retired transplant surgeon, had the stature and connections to weigh in — yet his silence remains deafening. Did his influence in Alberta’s medical or political corridors intersect with Sheila’s case? Or is his absence from the record another form of suppression? - Why is there no transparent accounting of APP’s ties to U.S. officials?
In October 2025, APP — with Modry’s name in the press release — claimed “full support” from senior Trump officials for Alberta’s independence. But no official U.S. government record confirms such commitments. Were these meetings with actual policymakers, or with fringe operatives seeking influence? And why does APP refuse to publish names, transcripts, or documentation of these “historic” discussions? - Why are disgraced doctors and nurses fronting Alberta’s separatist movement?
From Modry (retired, unlicensed surgeon), to Nagasse (disciplined doctor pushing ivermectin and false stillbirth claims), to Svetlana (disgraced nurse turned ivermectin profiteer), to Makis (stripped-license doctor turned COVID conspiracy figure) — the pattern is unmistakable. Is this merely opportunism, or are these compromised individuals being used as tools to steer Alberta’s separatist agenda? - Who benefits from this silence?
Every time evidence is presented — whether it’s a receipt, a photo, a whistleblower letter, or testimony — the institutions fall quiet. Modry, Smith, Shandro, Jean, Toews, the CPSA, even Ottawa. Who is protecting these people, and why?
